Valentine
Valentine-one year old spayed domestic medium hair. Valentine was picked up by animal control after she was hit by a car. She suffered a broken tail, three fractures in her leg which required a full leg cast and developed an upper respiratory infection. She spent a few weeks recovering from the accident at animal control before being transferred to Animal Rescue of Tidewater. She has now recovered from upper respiratory has had her tail ambulated and her cast removed. Due to the accident, her bladder was a little weak so she is taking medication temporarily-and her foster mom says she uses the litter box just fine! Valentine is playful and mischievous and during the time she had her cast on did not let it affect her movement. She is current on vaccinations, is microchipped and tested negative for feline leukemia. She is litter box trained and loves other cats and small dogs and is slowly warming up to the two large dogs in her foster home. She is a very special girl who would love to curl up in your lap or catch those pesky fake mice you have laying around your house. If you are interested in adopting Valentine please fill out an application. (Filling out an application does not obligate you to adopt). Cleo
Spayed Female, 1+ years. Poor Cleo came into Norfolk Animal Control preganant. She gave birth to two kittens who died. We took her into foster care and discovered that she is leukemia positive. She has been living isolated in a bedroom in her foster home for almost three months now although she shows absolutely no signs of illness. She eats like a horse and loves to play on the cat tree in her room. Cleo loves to be held and people can pick her up and hold her as if she were a baby. She’s a beautiful little tortie with golden eyes. Cleo desperately needs a loving home—perhaps where she is the only cat in the house or as a housemate for another leukemia positive cat. She does not want to stay locked in the bedroom for ever. . Litter box trained. For more information, contact Janie at jlauter1@cox.net 757-622-7341 or fill out an application.
