China is a beautiful, high-spirited girl who majored in the fine art of loving and playing! She's housebroken and very well behaved indoors, as she was trained in the tradition of genteel Southern females. She loves children and is very enthusiastic about meeting new people! Sometimes her enthusiasm needs to be tempered, though, as she has a tendency to want to jump on her greeters. For that reason, she would probably do better with older kids. But with a little training, she can be easily taught to overcome the jumping. She very much wants to please and is very affectionate. She gets along well with other dogs but she doesn't seem to be too keen on cats. China's a great traveling companion, however, whether by foot or car or any other mode of transportation. Poor Chen’s adoptive family is seperating, and this sweet boy has nowhere to go. Chen is a neutered male, about 6 years old and 63 pounds. We think he’s a Lab/Shar-Pei mix. He’s very mellow and good around children, and he loves to go for walks on the beach. He’s ever so obedient and comes right when he’s called. He’s very loyal and devoted, and he’s just heartbroken that he’s lost his family. Chen is full of love and energy for your active side, yet at the same time gentle and easy going. Chen is a super-good boy who just wants a second chance. While I’ve got plenty of energy for playing chase or going for walks, I’m very mellow in the house -- I’m the first to volunteer whenever a good long nap is needed. I’m also very loyal and protective. I always have a smile on my face. I enjoy throwing around my stuffed animals, and I’m always up for a good game of tug of war. But my favorite thing is getting lovies from my family and being spoiled rotten. I am neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all my shots. Nicknamed "Moo Moo" in the shelter because of his "cow" spots, he now sports a somewhat more mature name. But he's still very much of the puppy mindset! Mickey loves to play fetch, ride in a car and go for walks. He loves children and other dogs (probably not cats) and is certainly a "people pooch." He also loves his chew toys (although they don't usually last long) and is a great all round pet. He's crate trained and loads of fun! Spayed, all shots current. Beautiful and friendly, she could have inspired the song, "Georgia on my Mind." Solid white with a great smile, Georgia loves to play and romp with her doggie friends and give kisses to her humans. She's good with children, has lived briefly with a 10 month-old baby and was gentle with her. Sometimes she'll jump up on humans, though, when she gets excited. When she graduates from puppyhood, she'll probably be a lot calmer. Right now she just has tons of energy and would enjoy a fenced yard!
