SPAY/NEUTER CAN BE AFFORDABLE!
Are you holding off on spaying/neutering your pet due to the cost? Did you know that Hampton Roads has several low-cost spay/neuter clinics that offer quality service at very reduced rates? Spay/neuter of a larger dog is typically in the $100 range, while spay/neuter of a cat averages $60.
In addition to spay/neuter, clinics provide general wellness care (vaccines, heartworm preventive), and often will perform other medical procedures at a reduced rate. Information on prices for these services can be provided when your appointment is scheduled or found on the clinic website. Each clinic is independently operated, so please contact them directly to ensure pricing and eligibility.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Surgeries are performed by a licensed veterinarian at each clinic. On the day of your appointment, you’ll drop your pet off at the clinic, and by mid-afternoon, they are ready to go home with you. You will receive instructions on pre-surgery and post surgery follow-up care.
