The weekend, which ended with over 80 adoptions among 15 shelters and rescue groups, was a lot of fun and quite a success. For ART, the highlight of the weekend was an ART/NAMC adoption. Trudy, a Border Collie Mix from NAMC, and Taz, a Beagle in ART's foster program that transferred from NAMC, both found a forever home...TOGETHER! According to Jane Lauter, who sponsored Taz, these new siblings "have it made. They have run of the house, and at
night, Trudy sleeps with the little girl, and Taz sleeps with the couple.

Several other ART dogs attended, and though they did not get the fairy tale ending of Taz and Trudy, they did enjoy a nice afternoon out in the sunshine, getting lots of attention from many dog lovers!
