A New Leg and a New Attitude
Sadly, while playing in the yard Shenandoah broke one of her back legs and ruptured the cruciate tendon in the other. Shenandoah’s owner was unemployed and spend most of his savings to fix the break, but her cruciate tendon still needed to be repaired. This was a painful injury for any dog, but it is especially painful for a young pup who was use to playing in the yard with her brothers and loved her long walks. Shenandoah was a rescue pup with the Humane Society and was adopted by people who adore her. They reached out to ART for help and thanks to our donors and Sustaining Members, we were able to collect $1000 for her surgery. She has recovered well!
