Pecan

Pecan needed a very expensive surgery to repair a perineal hernia. He belongs to a college student who was desperate to help her pet and was doing everything she could to make this surgery happen. The surgery was estimated to cost approx $2000. Her parents had depleted their finances due to the military furlough and were not able to help, but she had $800 in credit to apply to the surgery. The Newport News Pet Pantry provided $300 and thanks to our amazing donors and Sustaining Members, ART was able to cover the rest. Just look at this happy face!
