Coco

This energetic 2.5 year old pup had torn her ACL and sadly was in a lot of pain. She was unable to run and play and needed surgery to fix it. Coco is the pet of a loving but disabled and ill man. He is unemployed due to his deteriorating health and has been consumed by his own medical bills, but Coco is the apple of his eye. Regardless of his hard times and difficult situation, he has managed to take very good care of Coco and loves her tremendously. Through a partnership with Newport News Pet Pantry, we had a vet who was willing to do the surgery at a discounted rate. Along with the help of the Pet Pantry, we were able to raise the $350 needed to pay for the remainder of her surgery. We are happy to report that Coco’s leg is as good as new and she is running and playing like her old happy self. Thank you to all of our supporters for making this happen.
