A caring gentleman adopted Foxy from a local animal shelter after she had been abandoned. After taking this neglected senior girl to a vet, he was told she had cancerous mammary tumors along with a list of other ailments, including poor eyesight and hearing, arthritis and allergies. Instead of taking her back to the shelter, her papa was determined to give her a good life despite his own financial hardships. He was able to put $100 toward her medical care, and ART raised the additional $750 to have her spayed and have the tumors removed. Thanks to our donors and sustaining members, Foxy now has the opportunity to live out the rest of her life as comfortable as possible.
