Monthly bills and monthly income – that’s what drives the economic engine at my house and I suspect yours too. It’s the same at non-profit organizations but for some reason few folks commit to regular, monthly-giving, except perhaps to churches which might do a better job of explaining the need for it. It’s hard to make spending commitments when you don’t know what will be coming in – that’s why regular monthly giving is so critical to sustaining the services we provide. Would you consider it personally? And, if you own a business, would you offer some bonus to encourage monthly givers?
