Hank is a courtesy post for Animal Aid Society in Hampton. He is super special and so we are happy to share his information.
When Hank first arrived, he was in pretty rough shape. One of 5 hounds that had lived together their entire lives, their owners passed away unexpectedly. We took all five in and have been working on socializing them, putting some weight on them and helping them recover from some pretty severe skin conditions.
He is coming around, but will still need a gentle hand to help him along his way. Hank is still very reserved around people but is starting to come out of his shell. If you are interested in a more independent pup to round out your pack, Hank could be the guy for you.
Medical note: Harley is heartworm positive. Animal Aid Society will pay for all associated treatments until this is resolved.
